Terms & Conditions

3 - 6 September 2026 | Penlee Park

1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions apply to all visitors, traders and participants attending Penzance Food Festival 2026.

By attending or participating in the festival, you agree to comply with these terms to help ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone.

2. Entry & Admission

Penzance Food Festival is free to attend.

Opening hours will be published on the website and may vary across the weekend.

All attendees must follow the instructions of festival staff, stewards and security at all times.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone engaging in unsafe, illegal or disruptive behaviour.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

3. Food & Drink

Food and drink are available from independent traders across the festival.

Visitors with allergies or dietary requirements should check directly with traders before purchasing, as each trader is responsible for their own allergen information.

Alcohol will only be served to those aged 18 and over. Valid ID may be required (Challenge 25).
 

4. Traders & Exhibitors

All traders and exhibitors must:

  • Hold valid public liability insurance (minimum £5 million cover)

  • Provide relevant food hygiene certification and licences where required

  • Complete risk assessments and comply with all health and safety regulations

  • Follow all set-up, trading and breakdown times

  • Keep their pitch clean and leave the site as found

Pitch fees must be paid in full prior to the event and are non-refundable unless the festival is cancelled.
 

5. Safety & Liability

All visitors attend at their own risk.

The festival accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

First aid services will be available on site. Any incidents should be reported to a member of staff.

The following items are not permitted:

  • Drugs

  • Weapons

  • Hazardous or flammable materials

  • Any item deemed unsafe by event staff

Anyone found in possession of prohibited items may be removed from the festival.

6. Event Changes & Cancellation

The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme, layout or timings where necessary.

In the event of cancellation due to weather, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control, no liability will be accepted.

Where possible, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule affected elements.

7. Photography & Media

By attending the festival, you consent to photography and filming for promotional and marketing purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform a member of the team on arrival.

8. Accessibility

We aim to make the festival accessible to all.

The site includes step-free access across most areas and accessible toilet facilities.

If you require additional assistance, please contact us in advance.

9. Code of Conduct

Penzance Food Festival is a welcoming and inclusive event.

All attendees are expected to:

  • Treat others with respect

  • Follow guidance from staff

  • Dispose of waste responsibly

Discriminatory, aggressive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
